Dr. Aziz Momin Doctor Momin conducted my heart bypass on the 31st of October 2016. Keeping in view my critical blockages, he made sure I made it to the priority list and hence operated on ASAP. He performed a double bypass procedure on me; before the surgery he prepared us well by giving us a detailed briefing about the procedure and all related aspects. He satisfied my family and I with all our anxieties and queries ;whenever we needed him he was available As his patient, I have found him to be a highly meticulous, articulate and thorough professional who knows his work well and takes a personal interest in the physical and psychological (mental or emotional) wellbeing of his patients. After the surgery, at the hospital he followed up my recovery with a personal interest, making the required medicinal changes whenever needed and encouraged me to be strong and positive. The staff at Benjamin Weir Ward were very kind and supportive and helped me a lot during the critical stage of my life. Dr. Momin has been very friendly and kind to me throughout my treatment and ensured I walked out the door as a satisfied person. Now I am recovering fast and can vouch for Dr. Momin as a very qualified, capable and skilful surgeon. Mr Momin was very clear on what was going to happen and answered all my questions he was straiight to to the point and didnt flower things up so i new exactly what was happening all the staff were very caring and helpful i wish there was a way to thank the whole team who do such a great job under so much pressure. I had a triple bypass on the 20th of september 2016 and i am recovering slowly but well. Thank you Paul Davis

When you find you need Triple by pass surgery it comes as a shock,it's such a major Op ,you have all sort of concerns, I was amazingly lucky ,as I was given the best surgeon anyone could ask for ,Aziz Momin ,from my 1st appointment onward he was very professional , confident and ,reassuring caring. I had my operation cancelled twice due to bed shortage but I felt Mr Momin fought my corner, coming to explain everything to me and doing all in his power to get me my op. The operation took place as he promised, it went very well.Mr Momin rang my wife after to inform her what had been done.After the Op he was on the ward checking that all was fine and over the next few day he came to see me frequently to check progress and to inform me of what was happening ,always shaking my hand, such care, he made me feel valued,I do feel this is unusual , both my wife and myself feel privileged to of had have him as my specialist. I'm home now days 8 days after my op I have so much to thank you for,I'm now looking forward to the future ,that is all down to Mr Momin. Thank you Mr Momin for everything ,for your support and care and the chance to enjoy my life.

Mr Momin and his team gave me support and always explained what was going to happen at each stage before and after my surgery. I experienced breathing difficulties after my surgery. Mr Momin and the nursing team gave myself and my family all the details of my care and what to expect. I have great admiration for the work these people do. Thank you all for your patience and great care. The only constructive criticism I can give is.......sack the chef!!! The food is beyond awful. Regards Martin.
